510k Clearance of EUREKATM Infusion Pumps

(EUREKATM-IP, EUREKATM-LF(Low Flow) and EUREKATM Administration Sets)

Larkspur, California, April 24, 2006 17:00 - Universal Medical Technologies Inc. Today, announced it has received 510K clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") for the EUREKATM-IP the EUREKATM-LF(Low Flow) Infusion Pumps and EUREKATM Administration Sets.

“This is the first 510(k) clearance earned by Universal Medical Technologies and is a significant milestone,” noted Glenn Herskowitz, president and CEO of Universal Medical Technologies. The company is also progressing on obtaining the CE mark as well.

This FDA 510K clearance as a medical device allows the company to market its label claims and enter into negotiations with distributors for commercialization purposes. Eureka™-Infusion Pump products are for general use in the United States, and will be available to home health care pharmacies, hospitals and physicians in July 2006.
